Don Raffaele, from Poland on vacation in Positano. His account of the war in Ukraine is very intense
Positano. This morning the Holy Mass in the Church of S. Maria Assunta was celebrated by Don Raffaele, a Polish priest well known in his country and who is currently on vacation in the city of the Amalfi coast in the footsteps of Pope John Paul II who chose the city vertical to spend a rest. Don Raffaele tells us that he is the editor-in-chief of a diocesan radio that has over 4 million listeners and that he also writes articles for a well-known Catholic magazine on a national level.
With great availability he talks to us about the conflict in Ukraine and how Poland has welcomed about 4 million people fleeing that tormented land.
A very heartfelt and dramatic story that makes us strongly perceive the drama of this historical moment and how important is the collaboration of all to help those who have been forced to leave everything in order to save their lives.
That of Don Raffaele is a very important presence in Positano both from a religious and a social point of view and we wish to thank him for his cordiality and availability.
