Positano: discovering the statue of Santa Margherita after the restoration
We heard Antonio Cioffi on the occasion of Santa Margherita, a very heartfelt celebration a Positano and in the neighborhood of Fornillo. Antonio is particularly attached to this reality, from the moment he attends the church of Santa Margherita for 30 years. “Allow me to thank the Breglia Restauri company in Vico Equense. As the restorer explained to me, they came out from above three layers of paint. The little flowers came out of the dress originals. I had this idea of making the little book on the life of Santa Margherita because not everyone knows it and not everyone knows that in Positano there is the Church of Santa Margherita. We have made everything new, the palm of martyrdom, the cross, the chaplet. Above all I have to thank Don Danilo who took this church to heart and beyond.“
