Piano di Sorrento, celebrations and procession in honor of S. Maria delle Grazie. Traffic device

Piano di Sorrento. On the occasion of the solemnity of S. Maria delle Grazie at the Marina of Cassano On Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July, religious functions will take place outdoors with the expected return of the procession that will travel along many city streets.
In order to allow the performance and participation of the functions in safety, the Municipality – with Ordinance n. 64/2022 – establishes the following obligations, prohibitions and limitations:
– in via Marina di Cassano, from 18.00 on 02.07.2022 to 24.00 on 03.07.2022, the ban on parking with removal for all vehicles and the ban on transit from 20.00 to 23.00 on 02.07.2022 ;
– in Corso Italia from the intersection with via dei Pini to that with Piazza della Repubblica and in Piazza Cota including the area behind the Town Hall, from 6.30 to 10.00 on 03.07.2022, the prohibition of parking with removal for all vehicles;
– in Largo Annunziata (central section) and via Ripa di Cassano (from the intersection with via delle Rose to the end of the balcony), from 10.00 to 12.30 on 03.07.2022, the ban on parking with removal for all vehicles ;
– the suspension of vehicular traffic only for the time necessary for the passage of the religious procession of 03.07.2022 and the celebrations of 02.07.2022, in the streets affected by them.
On 02 and 03.07.2022 during the closing times to traffic in Via Marina di Cassano, access will be allowed to the “Acqua pazza” car park, within the limits of its accommodation capacity.
Access to rescue and emergency vehicles must always be guaranteed.
