Positano: today in Montepertuso the eve of the great feast for the Madonna delle Grazie. The hamlets of Positano, the pearl of the Amalfi Coast, are in great ferment for the celebrations of the Madonna delle Grazie, for which, after two years of pandemic, a great event is being worked on. Today, Friday 1 July 2022, is the eve of the Feast of the Madonna delle Grazie.
Perhaps even more than before, in fact, it is an important event after the end of the state of emergency and which forced the traditional party to be canceled for two consecutive years. This year, therefore, also aims to be a signal of rebirth and recovery, returning to citizens and tourists one of the most awaited and most beautiful festivals of the Amalfi coast.

Lighting is taken care of by community volunteers. The floral decoration is cared for and offered by the Posaflora company.
On the occasion of the celebrations, the road to Montepertuso and Nocelle will be closed to traffic from 18.00 to 2.00. The Mobility AmalfiCoast company will carry out a shuttle service departing from Parco Cascone and the Bivio di Montepertuso.
The aforementioned shuttles will be available from July 1st from 6.00pm to 1.00am. On 2 July they will be active from 6.00 to 13.00 and then from 17.00 to 1.30.

8.00 am: arrival of the Historic Multi-award-winning Grand Band Concert City of AILANO directed by the conductor GIOVANNI MINAFRA
10.00: Opening of the Photographic Exhibition “July 2 yesterday and today” Memorial Michele Mandara to relive the history of this wonderful tradition through characteristic photographic shots
11.00: Holy Mass
19.00: Holy Mass and procession of the SS. Sacrament
9.00 pm: the aforementioned Band Concert will perform a selected program of symphonic music
2ND OF JULY
Holy Masses at 6.30 (with the participation of community volunteers) – 7.30 – 9.00 – 11.00
10.00 am: musical matinee in the churchyard
7.00 pm: procession of the statue of the Madonna, solemn outdoor Mass
9.00 pm: the aforementioned Band Concert will perform a selected program of symphonic music
