Amalfi is preparing for the celebrations in honor of Sant’Antonio da Padova
Amalfi is preparing with joy and faith to celebrate Sant’Antonio da Padova after two years of limitations due to the pandemic.
Holy Mass will be celebrated until Friday 10 June in the church of San Benedetto at 7.00 pm preceded by the recitation of the chaplet.
Monday 13 June the day of the solemnity of St. Anthony, the Holy Masses at 8.00, 9.00, 10.00, and 11.00 in the Church of San Benedetto in order to allow the participation of as many faithful as possible.
At 18.00 the traditional procession which will reach Atrani and then return to Amalfi by sea.
Once in Amalfi at the cathedral, Holy Mass will be celebrated at the end of which there will be the traditional raising of the painting of Sant’Andrea. Finally, the procession will reach Marino del Giudice and then return to the Church of San Benedetto.
