Meta, solemn Procession of Corpus Domini of the Parish of Santa Maria del Lauro. Route and road provision
Half. The Parish of Santa Maria del Lauro in Meta, as part of the Solemnity of Corpus Domini, has organized a procession that will affect some city streets for 19.00 today, Sunday 19 June.
The Municipality – with Ordinance n. 96/2022 – in order to allow the events to take place in the best possible way and in the utmost tranquility for participants and visitors, it establishes for Sunday 19 June the closure of the roads concerned and the establishment of a ban on parking on them as follows:
– from 18.00 to 22.00 (and in any case until the passage of the procession) the prohibition of vehicular transit e Tow Away Zone in the following stretches of road affected byroute of the procession: Piazza del Lauro (Basilica) – Corso Italia – Piazza V. Veneto with Eucharistic blessing – Corso Italia – Via C. Colombo – Via A. Cosenza – Piazza Elevator – Via S. Lucia – Via Lamma – Piazza Scarpati with blessing of the sea – Via dei Cafiero – Via Caracciolo – Piazza Casale with Eucharistic blessing – Via Vocale – Via del Lauro – Piazza del Lauro (Basilica).
Paid parking with parking meter in the aforementioned streets will be suspended.
In the event of an ambulance or emergency vehicles passing along the route of the event, the participants will be promptly notified by the organization’s staff and will position themselves on the right side of the road to facilitate their transit.
