Positano, the district of Laurito celebrates the solemnity of St. Peter the Apostle with faith

In Positano today great participation for the celebrations in honor of St. Peter the Apostle, protector of the district of Laurito. Many participated in the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided over by the parish priest of Positano Don Danilo Mansi with the presence of the mayor Giuseppe Guida. At the end of the Holy Mass the long-awaited procession of the venerated Statue of St. Peter which returns after two long years of detention.
A devotion particularly felt in the Positano hamlet and which today had a different flavor because it was finally possible to return to venerate the statue of St. Peter carried in solemn procession as a sign of blessing and protection of the faithful and of the small fraction of the pearl of the Amalfi coast.
