The affectionate greeting and best wishes to Don Daniele da Minori
We were at the former Rivoli in Maiori for a conference organized by the Amalfi Church and which was attended by mayors, men of letters, politicians of rank. They all talked until the hand raised, to ask to intervene extemporaneously, of the prof. Antonio della Monica.
The acute orator, known to all, obtained the permission of another man of culture, Archbishop Ferdinando Platucci, began by saying that all had intervened on behalf of organizations and associations and that he spoke in the name and on behalf of association of “sinners”
We want to relate the impressions and determination of the “simple People of God” to Don Daniele Civale, who was ordained a priest on 30 June last in the cathedral dedicated to Saint Andrew in Amalfi and became part of the large family of the spouses of the Church.
We know that Daniele’s projects, given the great predisposition, foresee studies in Rome, as announced during the Amalfi ceremony.
We Minors, proud and proud of having offered the Church a young son of the ancient village, we are sure that a recently paved road is being prepared for Daniele along whose path he is accompanied by community prayers, the love of the family, the respect due by part of his peers; and that at the end of this pre-marked road there will be a worthy reward.
This, dear Daniele, is the wish of the association of sinners of which we are honored to be a part and which does not include a president or director but only members ready to support those who work for the social good and for the good name of Minori.
Ad majora (which explained to ignorant people like me does not mean going to Maiori).
